Disney offers great deals for the hard working Military members. I highly recommend taking advantage of these great savings for Walt Disney World Vacation.
Tickets:
Disney has officially released 2023 military discounts which includes a 4 or 5 day Disney Military Salute ticket option. Tickets can be purchased until December 11, 2023 through Shades of Green or you can reach out to your local MWR. Tickets can be used January 1, 2023- December 15, 2023 with black out dates of April 2-15, 2023 and Nov. 19- Nov. 25, 2023. These tickets do not have to be used consecutively once activated. The service member must be present when the tickets are activated, and must have a valid military ID. Tickets can be purchased by the service member or spouse, and each family can purchase a maximum of six tickets. These tickets are available for activity duty or retired service members. Ticket prices range from $329.00 – $379.00 plus tax. All tickets include a park hopper pass. You can also add the park hopper plus option. The park hopper plus option allows you an equal number of entries into Walt Disney World Mini-Golf, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, ESPN Wide World of Sports, or Disney’s Oak Trail par 3 golf course. Rooms:
Military Discounts are offered on Disney Resorts. In order to receive a military discount you must call into book. This is where the help of a Travel Agent is great so that you don’t have to spend time on the phone! Military Discounts on rooms are limited, and vary based on the resort. When booking a room with a military Discount you will have the option for booking as a Package or Room Only package. A package requires a $200.00 deposit, final payment is due 30 days prior to check in, and comes with magical extras. A room only reservation’s deposit is equivalent to the first night stay, final payment is due at check in, and you are able to cancel with no penalty up until 5 days before check in.
Memory Maker:
Disney Offers the Memory Maker Package to those who are eligible for the discounts mentioned above. The Memory Maker package with the discount is $98.00. This can be purchased at Disney Springs or Guest Relations at all 4 theme parks. You must purchase this at the start of your trip. You will only be allowed to download the pictures taken after the purchase. If you purchase at Disney Springs you can head over to the Photopass Studio to get a few pictures while you are there! You are able to purchase the discounted memory maker a maximum of two times in 2023.
It is important to remember to take your Tickets and Military ID with you when you travel to Disney. We have found the best way to activate the tickets and purchase the memory maker is to go to Disney Springs the day we arrive. We take care of everything there, and do not have to wait in lines at the park. Also, then we take advantage of the Photopass Studio at Disney Springs to start our trip!
